Mayor Lili Bosse will lead walkers through the streets of Beverly Hills again on Monday, following her triumphant foray to Dallas for the U.S. Conference of Mayors for the Walk with the Mayor. Bosse received the Livability Award for the City, in recognition of the Civil City Campaign and the contribution to the quality of life in an urban environment.
This week, Walk with the Mayor will travel to Beverly Vista School and to Rite Aid store. The Rite Aid, located at 300 North Canon Dr., is reopening after an extensive remodeling. The Mayor will be conducting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store later Monday morning, at 11 a.m.
Walk with the Mayor, part of Mayor Bosse’s “Healthy City” initiative, meets every Monday on the Crescent steps of City Hall at 8:30 a.m. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. For more information and a route map visit beverlyhills.org
