Beverly Hills Wellness Center Uses ‘Whole Body Approach’ To Help Clients Feel Great
The Beverly Hills Wellness Center is a unique and innovative health center, specializing in whole-body wellness. “Our philosophy is that your health is more than an absence of disease,” said Edgar A. Guess, M.D., FACOG, the center’s medical director. “It is the presence of well-being with an optimum health existence. Our goal is to provide our clients with the service, knowledge and resources to achieve and maintain their best personal health. We offer healthy lifestyle choices, wisdom and understanding for use of traditional and alternative medical practices. We are truly an integrative wellness center.”
The center’s services include colon hydrotherapy and colonics acupuncture, inch-loss and detoxifiying infrared body wrapping.
Programs include immune-system therapy, cancer immune therapy, HIV immunity therapy, nutrition and dietary advice and weight-loss and management.
The center carries a full range of high-quality nutritional supplements and Chinese herbs, along with health and wellness products used in holistic-type therapies.
The staff consists of trained and educated practioners. The physicians are board certified and maintain on-going medical education. The colon therapists are physician-trained and are I-ACT Certified.
The acupuncturist is certified with a masters of science in oriental medicine awarded by the Dongguk Royal University. Collectively, the Beverly Hills Wellness Center staff has more than 100 years of experience in health, medical and wellness education and applied experience.
Guess, a native of Oklahoma, did his post-graduate work at Harvard Medical College and Stoney Brook Long Island Hospital in New York. He is board certified in OBGYN and GYN oncology. He holds a clinical professorship at USC Medical Center.
He has staff privileges at all the major hospitals in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills areas.
He is a retired OBGYN oncologist who remains active in the community, devoting time to local and national organizations in the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles areas
The center is located at 328 S. Beverly Dr. and open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 am. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
