If you like to have fun in the sun and have an appreciation of architecture, gardens and history, signing up to work as a volunteer docent at the Virginia Robinson Gardens may be just the right fit.

Next Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Friends of Virginia Robinson Gardens will offer a training session at the historic Gardens – including lunch!

Docent training includes learning about the history of the estate, as well as how to direct a group through the wondrous experience of exploring Virginia Robinson’s world.

For information on becoming a garden volunteer or docent,  email or call (310) 550-2087.
