The Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation and members of the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Baker to Vegas Relay Team would like to invite you to join in the 5th Annual Vahagn Setian Memorial 5K Run/Walk. This commemorates the young life of a wonderful community member that was tragically cut short by a drunk driver. This 5K Run/Walk symbolizes healthy life choices, ethical decision-making and a strong relationship between the Beverly Hills Police Department, its community members and visitors.
The run will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 8:30am at the Northeast corner of Rexford Dr. and N. Santa Monica Blvd. There is no cost to participate in the 5K Run/Walk, however donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. Registration begins at 7:30am in the lower section of the Police Department’s outdoor boat court, located adjacent to the parking structure off of Rexford Dr., south of N. Santa Monica Blvd. To register for the race go to http://vsmemorialrun.org/
All donations go directly to the Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation which is a 501(c/3) non-profit and is also classified as a public charity 509(a)(1). All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. To make a donation, you can go directly to the website (www.vahagnfoundation.org) or you can donate in person at the event. Although Vahagn himself is no longer physically present, the Foundation (VSCF) ensures that his passion for music, the arts, laughter and human joy will continue to flourish in the community he loved so dearly, and which he so greatly enriched during his tragically brief time among us. VSCF helps youth to build healthy and productive lives one choice at a time and focuses on enhancing the quality of their education with scholarships and other material aid. With your support we can continue Foundation’s important work. Please join us, bring your whole family, your friends, and invite a guest.
