Volunteers from Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church delivered gifts from the “Holidays from the Heart” wish lists of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) patients and their families.
Gifts included bikes, scooters, toys, books, strollers, diapers, formula, backpacks with school supplies, a microwave, a TV, a tablet, dishes, silverware, comforter sets, a necklace, coats, clothes, grocery gift cards, a gas card, Disneyland tickets, a Costco membership, a zoo membership and a Discovery Cube membership—all donated by church members and preschool families.

Recipients are enduring both financial and health crises such as sickle-cell disease, cancer and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome. “Delivery volunteers said there were many grateful tears that day,” Meredith Lee Colby reported.
