Calling All High School Artists! Congressional Art Contest Could Win a Trip to D.C.!

High School students are invited to submit their original art for a Congressional Art Competition!
Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-33) has sent an invitation to all artistically inclined high school students to participate.
First Prize is a trip to Washington D.C. to attend an awards ceremony, and other prizes are for 2nd and 3rd place.
The event will take place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts 2-4 p.m. on April 16.
Entries should be submitted no later than April 8, 2016 at 5 p.m. to the Congressman’s offices located at:

-Must be 2-dimensional
-Must be no larger than 28 inches wide by 28 inches tall by 4 inches thick
-Must not weigh more than 15 pounds, including frame
-Must be original in concept, design, and execution, and may not violate any U.S. copyright laws
-Art pieces are not required to be framed for judging
