Beverly Hills News – Beverly Hills Parents Crystalize Support For Measure Y

At yesterday morning’s PTA Council meeting, Beverly Hills parents voted to officially have the PTA endorse Measure Y. The $260 million General Obligation school-building bond must pass by two-thirds (66.7 percent) of the City’s voters in order to take effect.

According to PTA Council co-President Rose Kaiserman, the vote was representative of PTA members from across all five schools, with 44 voting yes and 12 voting against.

“If Measure Y passes it would mean a lot of changes in building structures and improvements,” she said.
