Josh Zad couldn’t hide his smile Sunday as his Alfred Coffee officially opened its first Beverly Hills location.

Zad, whose trendy coffee shop already has locations in Los Angeles, Brentwood, West Hollywood, Studio City and soon in Tokyo, was born and raised in Beverly Hills.

“This has always been my dream,” Zad said as he opened the doors to Alfred Coffee at 490 N. Beverly Dr., the site of the former Jacopo’s Pizzeria that served Beverly Hills for so many years.
