Natella Royzman Named Director Of Charitable Giving For Jewish Community Foundation

Natella Royzman has been named director of charitable gift planning for the Jewish Community Foundation of L.A. (

After a decade as an attorney in private practice, Royzman transitions to the largest manager of charitable assets and planned-giving solutions for Los Angeles Jewish philanthropists. Her responsibilities include outreach to the professional advisor community, as well as planning and directing the foundation’s popular annual speakers’ series on topical issues in planned giving, and related developments in trust and estate law and taxation.

Foundation President/CEO Marvin I. Schotland stated: “We are pleased to welcome Natella to our senior management team. Her varied experience will be an asset to our family of donors, and their professional advisors in finding creative, effective solutions for their charitable giving goals.”

Royzman had been the founder and managing attorney of her own law firm, and before that was with Loeb & Loeb; Robinson, Diamant & Wolkowitz; and Reuben, Raucher & Blum.

Royzman earned her J.D. degree at the University of California’s Hastings College of Law and a B.A. from CalState Northridge. She is an active advocacy committee member of the National Council of Jewish Women.

Established in 1954, the Jewish Community Foundation of L.A. manages charitable assets of approximately $1.1 billion entrusted to it by over 1,300 families and ranks among the 10 largest local foundations.
