Posted: Sunday, February 4, 2018 – 11:53 AM

At 11 a.m. Monday,  Feb. 5, representatives of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau will be available to discuss recent developments in the investigation of the 1981 death of actress Natalie Wood.

The news conference will also be streamed on Facebook Live.

Last week it was announced that Wood’s husband, actor Robert Wagner, is a person of interest in connection with her November 1981 drowning off the coast of Santa Catalina. Rumors of foul play have long surrounded Wood’s death and investigators have renewed questions about Wagner’s explanation of how his wife died. At the time, the couple was on the family’s yacht Splendor with Captain Dennis Davern, and fellow actor, Christopher Walken. These renewed questions were also featured Saturday on the CBS show “48 Hours” in a segment titled “Natalie Wood: Death in Dark Water.”
