Come sit with me for awhile  and see what I’m bringing to the table…

Baby It’s Cold Outside, written by Frank Loesser in 1944, for he and his wife to sing for their dinner guests. Through the years Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Lady Gaga are among a long list of notables to have sung this timeless duet. Now for those of you who might be wondering where I am going with this little tidbit, allow me to enlighten you. 58 degrees at high noon, and 30 plus degrees at 3 a.m. makes sunny Southern California upfront, top of the list, bone chilling candidates for these lyrics. A mix of sunny yellows, perky pinks with a dash of fuchsia brings sunshine and moonbeams to this table.

Yes, yes, I heard your question. Whoa, you have more than one question? Hmmm …first let me address the major question floating out there. Moonbeams are what seem to have caught most of your attention. Candles, candles, candles people. There is nothing like flattering candle light for the ‘”have not been in the sunshine population.” Oh pllleeease … if your looking pale, pastie, and frazzled the finished setting here will make you look, and feel like you just spent a full day at the beach.

Now on Amazon is Insul’s latest book, “a collection of… Tableofferings™ from the go-to expert tablescaper.” Available in E-book and hardcover.
