Beverly Hills News – El Rodeo On Lockdown After Stranger Spotted On Campus

Beverly Hills Police sent out a Nixle alert at 9:04 a.m. stating that police activity at El Rodeo had concluded.

El Rodeo school enacted a “shelter in place” Tuesday morning following reports of a stranger on campus. The school is currently on lockdown and police are recommending that everyone avoid the area.

Beverly Hills Unified School District officials confirmed that everything was okay within minutes after Beverly Hills Police sent out a Nixle text message alert informing the community that the school was on lockdown.

“Police activity at El Rodeo School. School is currently on lockdown. Avoid the area,” stated the Nixle alert, which was sent at 8:37 a.m.

BHUSD officials said that police responded immediately following reports of a stranger on campus and the school sheltered in place as a precaution.
