Israeli Yad Vashem Directors Visit American Society of Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem is the World Holocaust Remembrance Center built on a mountain overlooking Jerusalem.  Its archives contain the world’s largest repository of artifacts and documents from the Holocaust. More than one million flock there annually, making it Israel’s second most visited site. It is part museum, part memorial, and part educational and research foundation. It houses 204 million pages of documents, 500,000 photos, 130,000 testimonies (a total of 2.7 million pages of testimonies, 30,000 artifacts, and 11,000 artworks.
