Every week, The Courier brings you a selection of pets awaiting adoption or foster at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, located at 11361 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. You can see all their great pets on their website at If you are interested in these cuties, you can call and ask for them by their ID numbers!

Halloween is a very difficult time for black dogs and especially, black cats. Please help these animals – and take greater care of your animals – as the day approaches! Keep all pets indoors during Halloween, safe from any harm.

The animal shelters have great programs for volunteers and fosters. Thank you for considering adoption first!
