Future Home Of Academy Museum Takes Shape Inside Restored Saban Building

When the future of cinema was born in tandem with the work of the pioneering Lumière brothers some 120 years ago, no one could have anticipated what was to come. Likewise, there are few who can adequately surmise what the next century holds for cinematic inventions.

“It’s a pivotal moment where cinema is expanding instead of contracting,” said Kerry Brougher, Director of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
