Beverly Hills Students Take The Kids Heart Challenge To Raise Funds For ‘Special Hearts’

It’s no secret that childhood habits creep into adulthood. To that end, the American Heart Association is committed to helping youngsters live healthy lives. On Wednesday, around 400 Beverly Vista students, in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade, jumped rope and participated in various activities, raising over $6,500 for the Association to distribute to local agencies that help children with heart conditions, such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA and USC.
Today, Hawthorne students will likewise participate in the fundraiser, known as the “Kids Heart Challenge.”
