Beverly Hills Community Embraces Mallory Smith’s Legacy At Book Launch

While Mallory Smith, the inspirational young woman who died in 2017 at the age of 25 from cystic fibrosis, may have physically left this world, her legacy of perseverance and kindness continues on in the hearts of all who knew her and now in her memoir. This past Sunday, the Beverly Hills community filled every seat inside Laemmle’s Ahrya Fine Arts Theatre for Sunday’s sell-out local book launch for Salt in My Soul.

“It’s comforting to see that the community that helped to keep Mallory alive remains committed to her memory and legacy,” said Mallory’s mother, Diane Shader Smith.
