‘Avengers: Endgame’ Continues To Crush Box Office

“Avengers: Endgame” far outpaced the competition again in its second weekend of release, adding another $145 million to its domestic gross, according to industry estimates out Sunday.

It was the second-biggest second-weekend total ever recorded in North America, according to the industry tracking group Comscore.

This weekend’s second-place film was the thriller “The Intruder,” which took in $11 million Friday through Sunday at theaters in the United States and Canada.

In third place was the romantic comedy “Long Shot” which opened with $10 million, followed by the animated “UglyDolls” with $8.5 million and “Captain Marvel” with $4.27 million.

Rounding out the top 10 releases were “Breakthrough” ($3.9 million), “The Curse of La Llorona” ($3.5 million), “Shazam!” ($2.4 million), “Little” ($1.47 million) and “Dumbo” ($1.43 million).
