Spring Place Social Membership Called ‘Bait And Switch’ At Planning Commission

Last week, the Beverly Hills Planning Commission, in a 3-1 vote (Chair Andy Licht recused himself) denied Spring Place a Zone Text Amendment (ZTA) and a Development Plan Review (DPR) to allow additional operations for an existing private co-working club that opened in October 2018.
The request was to allow rooftop music outside the business triangle and to allow up to 10 guests per member to use the rooftop amenities, intensifying the use of the property and potentially, the impact on the neighborhood.
