BHPD Chief Spagnoli’s Report On Security Focuses On Active Shooters

A report by Police Chief Sandra Spagnoli to the City Council Tuesday focused on scenarios of active shooters at special events, and reiterated plans for pick-up/drop-off for the upcoming school year.

Focusing on the recent headlines, Mayor John Mirisch called for a moment of silence to commemorate the victims of El Paso and Dayton to begin the council meeting.

Event security and safety enhancements have been expanded under Spagnoli, beginning with pre-planning.
