Beverly Hills Students React to Slate of Tragedies at USC

As the Holiday season approaches, USC students from Beverly Hills are reflecting on the tragic series of deaths that have affected the Trojan community. With a student body of roughly 47,500 undergraduates and graduates, USC typically experiences four to 15 student deaths in one year. But this year, in the first semester alone, a shocking nine student deaths have occurred, three of which have been confirmed as suicides. The USC community at large has been coping with the collective trauma, grief, and fear of these losses. Many students are now advocating for USC to make changes in the health care services available on campus.
